Fusion Mineral Paint bonding agent
This bonding agent is used with milk paint or as a primer for all water-based paints. It will make Fusion paint adhere to slippery surfaces such as glass or metal. The milk paint bonding agent is a concentrated water-based acrylic emulsion. Its application is necessary before painting on surfaces such as glass, baked enamel, painted metal, oil or latex paint, varnishes, lacquers, shellacs, polyurethanes, and all types of oils. It provides excellent adhesion to non-porous surfaces. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and almost odorless.
Preparation: Ensure the surface to be treated is perfectly clean. Use a cleaner that leaves no soap traces or residue, such as ÉVO black soap. Lightly sand the surface with 100 or 120 grit sandpaper.
Application: For milk paint: mix 1 part bonding agent to 2 parts already-prepared milk paint. For better adhesion, you can increase up to 1 part bonding agent to 1 part milk paint. Stir the mixture well. Test on the surface before painting. You can recoat after 12 hours. For subsequent coats of milk paint, it is not necessary to add the bonding agent to the paint.
For other water-based paints: use the bonding agent as a primer directly on the substrate. Prepare the surface as mentioned above and apply the bonding agent. Once completely dry, about 12 hours later, you can apply the water-based paint of your choice.
Cleaning: Wash tools with ÉVO black soap and water. The milk paint bonding agent must be stored at room temperature in its original, tightly closed container.
